What type of music do you listen to? Favorite bands? etc? I am just curious

I like Blake Lewis, hes from American Idol, he didn't win, but i think he should have. I also like Buckcherry, Maroon 5, and Nickelback. Does anyone else like any of them?

I pretty much listen to a lot of things .. but ive always liked rock and alternative music the best

Ya, those are my favorite too, I like some Rap, but not like where its just them screaming the entire time, more kinda laid back-ish.
xpt I really hate country music, no offence to anyone....the voices are just really annoying in my point of view lol

hah, i totally agree about country music =D

The only music I don't like is rap/hip-hop, unless I am dancing, then I am all for it.
If anyone is into world music there is this band from Iceland called Sigur Ros, they are my all time favorite band!!

I agree - country music is just too winey for my tastes. But other than that i'm into just about any type of music. Alternative is my favorite. I'm really into the band Tokyo Police Club right now, but i also really like Paramore, Imogen Heap, Coldplay, Daft Punk, and Three Days Grace.

I generally like songs that aren't A)country songs B)generic love songs C) swear a lot (can't stand it mostly because I got religion) My favorite artists is Garry Jules, Sufjan Stevens, and rise against. I mostly love folk/alternative rock songs and my favorite song at the moment is lives in the balance by jackson brownie (surrpising how it was written in the 80' and still applies). As far as rap/hip-hop goes I like some songs but can't stand gangster rap (a la 50-cent).
