I know! I have the first chapter so many times! I love being in Edwards head!!

Does anybody know what the significance of the title is?
There is such a thing as the 'midnight sun' up in the arctic circle.
Maybe that has something to do with it? Curious....

That's an interesting take on it, especially seeing as Edward's going to be in Alaska for a portion of the book...

I have no idea, but after the book is released i'm sure it will be answered in a FAQ-page on Stephenie's official website !

me too i need to know more about Tanya...I am very curious

if you look at the quote of the days one of them mentions tanya (for breaking dawn) so im curious what happens there, and if it happens when edwar visits in twilight which would mean it would be in midnight sun

I am very excited! Maybe too excited, my patience string is not very long. I have read the first chapter many times as well. As for the title, I am sure the book will elude to it, as all of the twilight books have. Also, "Midnight Sun" could just mean a bright light (bella the sun) in edwards darkness (midnight). I don't know just thinking out loud. I am very curious about all of it. I mean Tanya, and exactly how he learned to stand the smell of her blood, and the first time he knew he was in love with her, and why he chose to divulge his greatest secret to her when they still didnt really know each other that well, and when bella is in phoenix, what his family thought about the union in detail and initially not just the scarcity of what is revealed in the books ... all of it!

ya it should be good, i find he sounds kind of phsyco tho when hes thinking of all the different ways to kill her in the class room haha but ya im really excited to find out what happens from his perspective

I've never really thought about the title before, its kinda like a synonym for Eclipse....Midnight Sun....hmm maybe not....lol

I am excited about it! But most people are not because they dont like it when authors do that. But I think it is a good way to be able to look at the story in a different perspective. Any way I am excited

I think its a great explanation for the title, Bella being the light in Edward's midnight ..

The only thing i really didn't understand about twilight was why edward was acting all weird in the beginning... so i'm glad the frst chapter is already out and i got to understand that. What's also good about that chapter i think is how we get to understand better what Jasper is going through & how hard it is for him.
